Yeah, I watch my fair share of movies, very few of which I thought was as funny as The Simpsons flick. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but IMO it was hysterical.

Yeah, the "fill-in-flash" can be a good look IF you have a good flash. Unfortunately, the built-in flash on my camera, like most digital cameras, sucks badly. It tends to washout any close subject, though I suspect it might be a problem with how the camera (a Nikon D70) designs its light metering. Surprisingly, the camera my family got my sister-in-law - a Canon S1000 - has a surprisingly good flash for such a small camera (of course, partly it's because the thing can't really take anything vaguely low light without it).
