Finally copped the OG LP and what can I say, end to end burners. I sold the 12" I had this year to a Japanese buyer...kind of regretting that move now. Sleeping Bag OG mail order wardrobe catalog insert is what's really, too.

    but you need the 12" version of freak the funk, so much tougher. i had my first copy of that stolen and pretty much wore out my 2nd so I'm on my 3rd.

    You know, this is one LP that I still to this day have never heard all teh way through. Once again just one of those jawns that fell through thr cracks. But I have "Freak The Funk" and "It's My Turn" on 12" and they're just so fucking good. Play them next to shit from teh same era and other shit just pales in comparison.

    And true indeed on the Sleeping Bag merch inserts!

    I love this album too. Not bad for a back up dancer.

    I can't remember where it was, maybe in the Dave thompkins Paul C article, but somebody was talking about how a large number of beats made with Skull Snaps are straight off of It's My Turn. You can't fuck with how Paul C beefed them up.

    Apparently there is a Japanese dancer named Stezo. I can't read Japanese and online translators are basically useless, but I think this one has opened up for EPMD too. Crazy.
