Maybe an EASY question for most here, so don't stone me. But i'm still looking for the LP or 45 where the funk studio version of "sunny" is on. Also compilations etc. I need that track. This is the version I'm looking for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ui-PZtAfNbkI know there must exist a studio recording, because i heard a Mix with it.Thanks.

Gettin down to it has a "jazz/blues" duett with Marva Whitney.
I want the video version.
First part soul version, then suddenly JB switches it into an uptempo funk version.
And i have heard this as a studio version already.
IMO great slept on stuff.
the marva whitney+trio version is the jazz version on gettin down to it...
"i need help...i can't do it alone"
btw: the version i mean was recently remixed on dynamite x by a japanese remixer.
How do you know the mix didn't just jack the video audio?
From what I know, most of the Parisian performances from 71 ended up evolving into stuff that was on "Revolution of the Mind." But, "Sunny" wasn't on that concert LP.
just listen to the live version, and after that to to remix. the remix uses the first 20-30 of track unmixed. they only laced it with house bassline and some effects .
also, you can clearly hear, that the sunny i'm talking about has different instruments, singing etc etc.
there must be a rare studio recording.
