    I don't think there was ever a genuine craze like there was for funk 45's and libary records. I think it's still relevant because there are early 80's r&b joints that where hits and still get played on the radio all the time.

    Yeah pierre and 'em definetly ride for the boogie heat. But the shit they bump is like BAD boogie. Some of it was even straight up seinfeld-ian slap bass raer!

    Actually wait, this dude named DJ Pharoah (onesness records) has some reaaaaaaaaal dope boogie/80's R&B stuff. I thought his tastes where by far the best out of a lot of the folks I saw and heard in France.
