also, plenty of low budget gorehound productions from the 80s focusing on everything from Zombies (Italy primarily) to (sub)urban plight.

  • Anything with Sho Kosugi and "Ninja" in the title. Or "Death".

I used to live about a mile from Sho Kosugi's house. I don't think he lives there anymore, but he had it built. The place looks like a big japanese temple with a koi pond, and garden in the back. It was crazy. I loved all of those cheesy 80's martial arts flicks.

The only man in Hollywood with his own genre of exploitation: himself.

Never been a huge Chuck fan, but the Octagon was THA BALLZ.

I mean, it had Ninja in it. Game, set, & match.

Naw man it was languishing in the 220s in my Queue. Just bumped it to Top 5 status so, soon!

I'd have to say the 80s was the decade of Kung-Fusploitation

^^^ this, like I Spit on Your Grave (Meir Zarchi), was produced/directed by some Israeli hacks . for some reason they had a disproportionately high presence in the field of low budget horror/action flicks around this time.
