    The Texas tenors were into battling. I think Coltrane and Davis were more into pushing and shoving.

    I'm going to have to go with Coltrane on this one, simply because he peaced out before he had a chance to become stale and irrelevant.

    I'll go with Miles. Dizzy blazed one trail (Perhaps the greater trail) and followed a few others. Miles blazed a slew of trails.
