Besides the song "Gratitude," which is skipable, the songs on MAF represent some of McCartney's best work since Flowers In The Dirt, his last really great album. Chaos and Creation was good also, but a little heavy on the slow numbers. A lot of the production touches on this new album remind me more of Wings that the Beatles, which is cool by me since they are pretty much overlooked in comparison to the Fab Four.
haven't heard anything from this, but THAT's the cover??? That has to be one of the least enticing covers ev-ah. That cover looks the way Paul McCartney's 80s output made me feel.
alright upon my first listen paul's simple songwriting and amazing melodies kick ass all over this album production is great, too. perfectly accompanies pauw don't worry - "dance tonight" has a different sound from the rest of the album
