Dude, what's really NOT good?
I went to Maui back in winter, I swear to god when you first get off the plane it REEKS of fresh flowers!
Just make sure and respect the locals (it's their island!) and respect the ocean (cause it will FUCK YOU UP with the quickness boy!)
Have a blast, and do yourself a favor and check out the main island! Also, unless you're a big into partying and over-crowded beaches don't go to Oahu (Honolulu).
F'real. I went to Kauai last year, and the only bad part was leaving. You should definitely holler at the so-called Garden Island if you get the chance.
LEGEND. The Queen of Makaha.
Real question though is did you hit up Waimea Canyon or the northside like Ke'e? When I go back I want to hike the whole Na'Pali coast trail, it sounds amazing.
Also if you're on the big island Honownow (obviously incorrect phonetic spelling) is the best snorkeling spot on all the islands.
Oh, I hit Waimea Canyon for sure:
Pictures just can't do it justice.
Kobayashi Estate like wut?
On my other computer I have a pic at that same lookout point as in your second photo.
Another time someone posted a shot from Kauai looking out over a poi field (located up near Princeville, on the way to the Napali Trail lefthandside), I had the same photo also and I think NBizzo did too.
Or "lei"
What kine dat?
Eternally, always.
Seriously, just say no.

Hell of a spot.
Kauai is the most beautiful place i've ever been to, and i think about all the time.
i cannot recommend it highly enough.
eat the shave ice
eat koaloa pork
chill the fuck out
enjoy.
Word, that's right down the highway from my house. Congratulations on the wedding!
To whoever mentioned the Na Pali coast trail, I'd definitely recommend doing the whole thing. Get permits and allow yourself at least two nights camping at Kalalau. It's a totally different experience after Hanakapi'i, the first beach that most tourists hike to. If you're in good shape it's a strenuous but not impossible day hike. Get an early start and give yourself 7-9 hours to make it.
Honu on the beach at dawn, Miloli'i:
The arch of Honopu beach:
Inner Wainiha valley from the Alakai cliffs:
Me a few miles upland in the Kalalau valley:
i used to work with kaui (aka bu) in the late 90's. super quiet dude, nothing like his alter ego.
their patties are too charred for my taste.
how long you there for m*rk? i'll home for the summer next month.
What's good?
Waterfalls, snorkeling, valleys, canyons, volcanoes, gardens, rivers, lava tubes, sunsets, Lomi Lomi massages, great eats, rainbows, horseback riding, hiking, orchid nurseries, really nice locals, luaus, hot tubs, petroglyphs, ruins, and beaches beaches beaches beaches.
I took a surfing lesson at poipu, I'll put up more pics later:
What's not good?
Only the price tag.
If you're in the 808 area, holleur via PM before Sunday so I can shoot you my digits
