I heard this album. Liked it. Quite a bit. Wasn't a huge fan of "Be". Thought "Finding Forever" was stronger. Then I see this:And I'm...I'm...speechless. This makes the Lupe Fiasco cover look like "Straight Outta Compton."By the way, Rick James' ghost called......he wants his coif back.

i think it's a silk hoodie
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Now, now, let's not get carried away--I know the Common cover is what's new and hot, but the Lupe Fiasco joint is an all-time contender.
I didn't download it. I sat in the office with Common's A&R - only way I could listen to it in time to write a review. I'm a little surprised this album cover met with the A&R's approval.
better than most hip-hop that came out that year. then again that isn't saying much...
the only song i still listen to off Be is the dilla track
George Benson = Common ?
I hear ya - but somehow i'm not mad at that.
you sound old
How so?
Uh, it's really ugly?
"Be" was simple.
"Electric Circus" was eclectic but at least ambitious.
"Finding Forever"? A trainwreck of bad ideas.
yes this is by far one of the worst covers I have ever seen. Up there with LadyBug's solo cover.
This shit makes the No Limit covers look amazing.
Let's no get crazy now.
That's one some whole NOTHER level of unbelieavable badness.
The cover was the only good thing about that album... I thought the Sergeant Pepper's/Midnight Marauders/Maze homage was pretty clever.
I've seen worse, but he is looking a bit on there..
Seventh Album?
dude, the No Limit covers were amazing.
course...this certainly represents the pinnacle of the genre:
Was the one with the guy surfing his impala a No Limit cover?
No
And you guys are mistakenly equating No Limit with the work of Pen-n-Pixel; No Limit may have been P-n-P's most visible clients, but they were by no means the most bizarre or flamboyant ones.
Sorry, I meant to say "Pen N Pixel" not "No Limit" but you have to admit - the two did go together like PB&J for many years.
But yeah, NL doesn't hold the patent on the greatest PNP covers of all time.
But seriously, who's got that impala surfin' cover?
I am
"I Used to Love Her" =
You're not thinking of this by any chance?
call me crazy... That cover actually makes me NOT want to hear this album.
i know he could redeem himself but seriously after seeing that cover, that is going to be a pretty hard thing to do.
