Mmm... cake mix!"
"Throw some Ds on that bitch!"
Don't you mean "t-bone steak, cheese, eggs and Welch's Grape?"
I still like to use "6 oclock on the swatch watch, got a date, cant be late, the girl is gonna do me". When properly used can be a nice touch when asked "do you have the time"
I like it with butter
Uh uh uh uh I used to stutter"
"Such a beautiful beat I'm about to destroy!"
"Off the books"
"Handle you B.I."
"Fresh to Def"
"Get Your Mind Right"
"Your shirt looks like a curtain"
I pretty much make hip hop references throughout my everyday speech (which often times have my co-workers confused). the other thing me, my brother & cousin do is quote Trading Places incessantly when we're together and I work with my cousin.
"don't call it a come back" (duh)
"your reign on the top was short like leprechauns" (a little wordy, but fire!)
i hear voices saying,
good looking yeahh without a doubt
JT The Bigga Figga?
overuse of "y'all"
"fresh"
"how (we, I) roll"
THAT'S HOW THE FUCK I ROLL
"here is something you can't understand"
"if ya dont know, now ya know"
"later for that"
gank

I got the best wife in the world.
I haven't used GANK since I was in 7th grade.
Also, let's not get it twisted, but a lot of the shit that people attribute to either being "hip-hop" sayings (or even worse, Soulstrut sayings, is just shit that people have probably been saying for a good 30-40 years. Guaranteed "Game Recognize Game" predates any hip-hop lyrical reference.
I generally answer my cell phone by proclaiming "PEACE" to the often-bewildered caller.
(No I do not do this at work.)
It's even doper that she goes to "Self Destruction" instead of the more well-known response: "Your parents went away on a week's vacation."
Yeah that's very true. It's just that these days most people associate a lot of it with hip-hop.
i use 'dont call it a comeback' while playing video games against friends about every 15 seconds.
