Treat yourself to nice piece of precious metal for that wrist. I had owned cheap ass Timex's and Guess watches for years and my wife bought me a Movado and not a day goes by that I marvel at this thing.
I wasn't keen on the traditional Movado look but my wife bought me one that has numbers on it and I love it. It was a thousand dollar watch marked down to $300 @ Macy's. I want a Rolex but I can't justify the cost right now. My goal in life is to die with a Rollie on my wrist!
Fuck watches. Get on dolo time or fuck yaself. Even when I wore one shit didnt go above casio. I aint fucking with no shine. Let the ladies glam themselves up. I stay rugged.

I haven't been wearing a watch much lately but my brother-in-law picked up one of these Casio calculator watches with a TV remote control built into it. It is a lot of fun f*cking with the people watching their shows at the bar while we play pool. When no one is looking he'll change the channel and get everyone all worked up. Especially when a game is on. Good fun.
Kids these days use their cel to tell time. I use my cel to call people.
I use my cell phone to check the time, but I'd still like to have a nice watch. The days of the cheap watches are over though, because nobody really needs a watch to tell the time anymore.

i like panerai watches. the guy from the Transporter (jason statham) has one on in all his movies.
i think james bond had on an Omega in casino royale. Patekke Phillipe makes some quality watches.
All of the above are way too expensive. Vintage watches are a good look. They have some character. Saving up to buy an expensive watch that is out of your price range is money down the toilet. If you wear a rolex, its a little too showey, and if your goal is to impress people, you will succeed on some levels, but half the people will assume its a fake, and all the people who can afford one will think you have bad taste (rolex is not thought of as one of the premier watch companies).

Despite the over-popularity and instant look-at-my-expensive-watch douches who wear Rolex, you really can't front on them, they'll last longer than you will (yes I have one). Breitling make beautiful watches (Navitimer). If you have the money, Frank Muller is where it's at, though you'll need 20Gs for a decent one.
Give me a Frank Muller skeleton tourbillon any day (please!)

Yeah, I don't get all the hatt. The one I have is very low key. I'm not about flash and all that. It's about being understated
I rock a swatch. After spending a few years working in a jewelry factory I was not into bling in any form. The company that I worked for owned Omega, and they started a new company called Pippo. I wait on New York's ultra rich all day, but I haven't really noticed any fly watches. They're just all really big. If I had loot I would definitely get a Breitling with visible mechanics.

Not bad, but that's a $30 watch (without the Stussy/Undftd scripts) at the Casio Outlet at AZ Mills. I do appreciate the G-Shock (plain versions). Takes a beating and is still ticking after routine dips in the polluted Pacific. I wear this one when I don't dress-up:
This is not a high-dollar watch, but it is in the MOMA collection, and I like the looks of it:

What purpose does a watch serve these days, other than as a cosmetic accessory?
Same here, even if I have to "settle" for:

It's their loss.
Real watch heads know the deal!

All the way.
My brother just got that watch too. Stussy and undefeated is a good combo and should be in the future.
