It's been super dry in record department lately. But I did score about 150 arrowheads, trying to see if they are worth a little scratch.

A garage sale a client was having, I was able to get at their
stuff all earlybird style.
Real or Unreal, You should be careful about buying and purchasing things of this nature. I know arrowheads are common but native american artifacts and historical items might sometimes be considered stolen or property of the state or tribe if they can be tracked and are obviously not novelty.
I only say this because I recently saw a special on the Gardner Museum and found myself searching the FBI Art Theft Program website for more relative stories. This basically has nothing to do with you or these arrowheads, it just made me think about the stories I read. There are several cases of people buying and then trying to sell some major pieces of history, like Geronimos Head Dress, which someone attempted to sale on Ebay and got in to some trouble.
Anyways, its not that I think that will happen with these, as JLR mentioned, those are fakes.

I just found the Gardner Story and Art Theft in general very intriguing.
Here is the website with all the theft and recovery claims:

And I think Isabella Gardner was one of the most bad ass ladies ever too;
Here is The Gardner Museum breakdown on the FBI page:

Do you have any knowledge regarding arrowheads?
Drop some if you do.
I've been doing some research and they look legit to me, arrowheads vary in quality, size, shape, style etc. They have patina that can only be created over many years of
weathering after being made. I'm no expert, but I'm hoping they are the real deal.
Alice. Dope post. Thanks for the links. The art theft world is always very interesting. I visited the Gardner Museum in Boston during the early to mid 90s and there were spots on the wall where pieces of the collection were missing. There were notes in the spots that said they had been stolen. It was pretty crazy.
Yes, that heist was totally nuts! Only really possible because the
museum had been so old and, due to policies that had been in place
for a century not allowing changes to be made to the building, was
very poorly guarded ... what's crazy is, my friends and I were at a
party right around the corner from there the night of the theft, and
were hanging out drinking just outside the museum around the time of the
heist ... this security guard came out and chased us away ... and the
robbers had been dressed like security guards, so to this day I still
assume that it was actually one of the robbers who came out and chased us
off, so that we wouldn't attract the cops!!
Chan and SOI:
Yes, I hope to be able to visit the Museum someday. From what I could gather from Isabella's story was the one thing she asked when leaving her collection to the people of Boston was that nothing ever be removed. She said they could add to it, but nothing could be taken away, therefore when you visit you will find the empty spaces where the paintings were and a message about them being stolen.
I think its crazy that you had contact with these fuckers ( probably, maybe??) Anyways, 15 years later these paintings are still missing and believed to be in the possesion of the IRA. The special I watched was on OPB. Ms. Gardner traveled the entire world saving and salvaging lost, uwanted and forgotten art and artifacts long before it was cool to do so, all on her own basically. And she was an odd bird, so one of those great people who wasnt really appreciated until after her death. I think its dope.
P.S. : that clock is bananas, is it in working order? Looks like something out of looney tunes.
LOL
What do YOU know about fake arrowheads?
Obsidian Clovis points with a left hand flaking is where it's at.
Of course spear heads over 31/4" are much raer than mere arrowheads.
I once found a Clovis left hand flake spear head buried deep in a mammoth rib bone at the good will.
That. is.
I am fascinated by art heists and fakes (i was almost considering going to school to study such things) and that one is the king of all stories.
If you are interested in the most fascitinating fake art story around, read up on John Myatt and John Drewe.
That one is fucking crazy.

In case of gripper's regret on your part, should I holler?
Please note, I understand that the money is not an issue for you.
Is any of this worth money?
I used to pick up arrowheads whenever I came across them but once I figured out that I couldn't flip them on ebay I stopped caring.
I once sold wolf stool on ebay.... I got $36.50 from a scatologist for an average-sized grey turd.
any spares?
I'll trade 10 small m- catshits for a vg wolf stool.
HELLO?!?!?!?
Do you have any knowledge regarding glass bottles?
Drop some if you do.
Anything less than $400 for such choice items and you are entering into GRIP AND FLIP land, my friend.
I would be willing to give you $100 at most for the baking dish.
I have to make money too, you know!
It has the OG lid and everything.
Semi-Thread Jack.......
Real or Unreal, you should be careful about buying and purchasing things of this nature. I know glass bottles are common but nineteenth century jeckleg elxir artifacts and historical items might sometimes be considered stolen or property of the state or of some blind bluesman's descendants if they can be tracked and are obviously not novelty.
