Just got back from a Last Poets' show...

Dudes did a new-ish poem called "Americans Are Terrorists" then said:"We performed that poem on a recent episode Of Def Poetry Jam, but unfortunately you won't see it 'cause Russell Simmons DOESN'T HAVE A SPINE[/b]."

    your very lucky to have seen them perform. I am a bigg fan of their work.

    They performed at my high school back in '88 at an assembly. They started off real militant for the first two poems and then the principal walked on stage, whispered something in one of their ears, and then everything was pretty tame after that.

    Still, one of my high school highlights.

    The show was great I am glad you came out Herm. Isaiah & Shaun where dope as well. I feel privliged to have shared the stage with Umar Bin Hussan. WOW!!
