these sound good the gravediggas is my favorite and i really like the idea of taking the vocals back and forth on the biggie/juniorreed track. keep it up and thanks for posting these
My apologies in advance to Mr. Rotation. I really like your mix CD, and couldn't help but bite the disco/rap remix sound when I heard this SOS Band song.
S****! This is great. It sounds like something Ghost should be rhyming over, ya know?
Thanks!! Between the one you posted today and the I'm A Flirt mix you're batting two for two in regards to having the _only_ version of those particular songs I'll fuck with.
Thanks for all the replies. I've kind of been waiting for one of these threads to get started.
DR. WU[/b] You're right about the Esther Williams. The drums are from that break on Donaldson's "Mr. Shingaling" lp, though the name escapes me.
There's also some Wilson Pickett and awful french drum library percussion stuff. But the main music, although I won't give it away totally, I've actually seen in one of Legend's record pic posts but was never discussed.

Beastie Boys/Ying Yang Twinz - Shake Your Rump/Saltshaker
Lady Heroin
Keeping with the Ying Yang theme:
Git It/High Hopes
