Gladys Knight and the Pips have their own blissful version...

Any other renditions I should be aware of?

I swear I've heard one that STOMPS, but can't recall the name of the artist.

    The Disciples Of Soul version is great!

    Tierra's version (en espanol, holmes) is dope, but not what you're looking for I think (it's an 80s record).


    I think there's a reggae version. Kevin?

    Tierra's version in English on Boardwalk. They added a spoken part followed by a lil' nod to "Cowboys to Girls" in the breakdown. I remember they used to kill it on NY radio when I was a kid. At that time, was the first version I'd heard.



    The Three Degress also did a version on PIR.
