though the single's less than inspiring and i'm apprehensive about clef's involvement.
lol Faux has gone from proclaiming month-old albums "classic" (e.g. Clipse) to actually granting classic status before the album is even out.
You wish you knew as much about rap as me, chad.

1. T.I. is great, but not the best rapper alive. 1a. T.I. is not better than Big Daddy Kane in his prime. 2. The first single from T.I. vs. Tip sounded like garbage to me upon first listen. 3. You sound like a cheerleader.

Who said that?
Some new booty rabblerouseur.
Well I know of at least one reverent and ernest hip hop historian who may have stated that TI is as good as Big Daddy Kane in his prime. But I don't believe I've ever encountered this new botty rabblerouseur who suggested that he was better than Kane.

^^^^^EAGERLY ANTICIPATES AN ALBUM FROM NINJAFISH
keep repeating "classic" and pretty soon it won't mean anything at all.
it's called inflation. soon you'll need a whellbarrow full of "classic" just to begin to describe the LOX reunion tape.
Thank you, chad. I am familiar with this effect, having witnessed you greatly cheapen the term "nice!" That's why I use "classic" so sparingly.
it's true fauxhack. the term "nice" was so potent with meaning before I came along.
Who said that?
Who said anything about "nice"? We are talking about "nice!"

That would definitely be out of club compliance.
except scarface
T.I. = great artist/decent rapper
Strictly rap-wise out of Texas, I'd take Z-Ro and Gerald G over T.I. any day of the week.
And if we added it all up, I'd take Devin over T.I. as an artist as well.
Plus in my book (now considering the whole South), T.I. has yet to surpass Juvenile on the lifetime achievement steez.
speaking of....where the hell is THAT guy these days?
by what criteria does one judge an un-released and as yet un-heard album classic?
is faux so taken in by the clever marketing and the single that he is willing to proclaim this album classic sound unheard?
and if so what does that really say about his abilities to meaningfully critique an album on its merits?
or is it merely that he is such an unabashed fanboy that he will proclaim any and all T.I. product classic before it's even dropped?
please, help us understand.
He put out what I consider to be a really good album last year called Reality Check.
And apparently his next one is going to be a reunion with Mannie.
thats awesome
Oh, jeez.
He only put out one of the best and most important records of 2005, "Getcha Hustle On," and followed it with a decent album last February.
imo: t.i. < bun-b
bring the hatt.
