WTF is going on with the weather? Girl drug me outta bed this AM to take a walk with her and it was 40 degrees! Damn near half-way through April! Oh well, I should enjoy the coolness...it will be a hundred degrees before you know it...
For the cloudy rainy days I am really getting into minor-keyed, organ-driven mid-tempo soul jernts like Al Perkins and Betty Bibbs "Homework" and Paula Lamont "Beatle Meets a Ladybug"...thats my shit right now...need more like that...plaese to recommend
Listened to side A of Ze Ramalho's 'A Peleja Do Diabo Com..." before heading out this morning. Has that rainy day vibe in places. I'd post, but I haven't ripped it yet.
Weather has been strange everywhere. A couple weeks ago it snowed out of nowhere and almost made it down to the city, then the next week it was 100 degrees and now there's been 50mph winds, sandstorms and it looks like it might rain.

How about "What's Goin' On?"?
ha.
Santa Fe the wind has been crazy. Im dead broke so ive been using my bike as primary travel method and its almost useless in this wind. im often just getting off and walking the bike, downhill too. today we had snow. then sun. then hail which turned into heavy rain. and how clowdy/clearish skys.
been rain-snow-wind-rain-sun-mild-cold-rain-etc etc etc for a week here. classic April i guess. today i lost my mind to Blind Willie Johnson's "dark was the night cold was the ground", pretty much the spookiest old time blues song ever. And ive been grooving on the russian reish of tommy flanders "the moonstone" LP, good rainy music. Also "the destroyed room", the new sonic youth rarities set. 26 minute uber-noize uncut version of "the diamond sea" =
holy sheesh, The snow storm just hit i got blasted thinking i could walk to and from class today. im soaked. and holes in the shoes doesnt help. Nina Simone will hopefully quell this storms rage.
