goddamn this brought back some memories. that firehose song is i use to play that "wheels of fire" video so much that the tape eventually gave up and snapped on me. Natas wasnt in hocus pocus though... was he??
edit: that shit is streets on fire not wheels of fire. wheels of fire was the first one ..i've gotta track these down. I havent seen these in atleast ten years.
Thanks for those! Natas and Hensley, 2 of my favorite skaters ever! Remember when Hensley quit skating to play pool and learn the accordian? I guess he just retired from Flogging Molly too. Man he was the shit.

He became a paramedic too. Hensley changed street skating forever (along with Gonz and Natas).
The early H-Street days were a big period of innovation. Cats like Steve Ortega, Brennand Schoeffel, Brian Lotti... all those guys were doing some incredible stuff. Watch Lotti's part in Planet Earth's 'Now N Later' video... that shit is so good even today.
Anyone seen his 'feature' film, '1st & Hope', he just put out?

Holy shit, this thread is a blast from the past...
I first saw streets of fire (NZ is a long way from Cali), but had heard of Natas from some of the older dudes that skated. Me and my little grommet crew would play 'Natas could ollie that' every day coming home from school.
Then that damn fireHose song carved its way into my soul.
Shit, i just got lost in memories, for a moment i was 20 years younger, skating on the other side of the planet without a care in the world.
Another in my top 5 EVAR, maybe my #1 Fav. Here's a classic, Gonz at the Sunset Carwash. LA heads know the deal here, when you see this spot in real life it makes you sick to your stomach just thinking about this manuever.
i'm diggin the shoes....i always skated in nike barkley high tops or vans....god that video brings back good memories. imagine my surprise and joy when i found out my company is doing business with a company partly owned by per welinder....powell and peralta..what!

Nah, I was just bringin' out notha video by H-Street that was badass and fresh for the times. Has Danny Way in it though.
Can't forget the Search for Animal Chin or Public Domain. Except H-street was less known and beginning to produce some the most underated guys.
