I got the "Sensitive Cat" LP, its mad decent. Nice mellow Rhodes joints. What's the story with this guy? Where's he from? Does he have any other good rekidds? I'm diggin' the sound.
Cobbett's stuff is not bad if you like piano-based soul jazz. His compositions/arrangements aren't incredible...I wouldn't take his shit over Irvine or Leon Spencer. I've owned "Sensitive Cat" a few times but I've always traded it out. I want to check out his other LP though.
Thanks guys. Yeah Sensitive Cat is cool, but I could see myself trading it out after a lil while, although it does have some nice sampley moments. That Peaceful Morning looks noice. I like when ol' Rupert sticks to the keys.

and this:
The Lp came out in 1976 on Soul Deep Chidoo/Scott Inc. and was distributed by Indi Record Distributing Corp. out of Florida.
Any word on other albums?
there's also this.
never heard it, but it's a later, balder cobbett
He is a "sensitive cat" indeed.
Some nice electricy samples to be had off of there - or at least, I've rinsed a riff or two.
