I had to look this up on imdb. So if I understand correctly, the U.S. wants to install machinery for its "Star Wars" project on a site located in a small country called Parmistan, but in order to do so they have to enter a fighter into some fighting tournament?

I may have to consult with Leonard Maltin before I commit to this.

This is the one where the dude does karate gymnastics on the Pommel horse right? One of the shitty 80's movies that you just had to watch.

I've been waiting for this one! The Land of the Crazies is

  • Here's another subject heading I never expected to see on SS.

And yes, I have seen this movie. Remember watching it on VHS back in the Eighties when movies w/ Sho Kosugi were the lick. And then you had "Gymkata".

"Gymkata" was also a favorite joke of the crew on MST3K.

    What? No director's commentary?

This and Remo were staple classics in my childhood tv viewing.

I always pray for a conveniently located pommel horse and high bar whenever I have to fight off an entire village.

I can still remember seeing the trailer for
this in the theater, before it was first released -
from that moment on, it became an instant laugh-getter
between my Sister and I, right up until today.

This movie is part of the Holy Trinity:

    Gymkata
    Revenge of the Ninja
    The Octagon

    Remo was wicked!

I heard there was a sequel for remo. Anyone seen it??

"There was a 1987 direct-to-video sequel, Remo Williams: The Adventure Continues!, starring Roddy McDowall and Jeffrey Meek in place of Joel Grey and Fred Ward, respectively."

    Anyways, Chiun was THE MAN!!!

    And like someone brought up.

Sh?? Kosugi was the real deal in the 80's. I use to love his flicks as a kid.

OH SNAP 2008 release. Look for it in the theaters!

    The Return of the Ninja[/b]

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0453538/

Where can I buy my tickets now???
