There are some people on this board that react and type without putting on much of a filter or thought into what they are saying. I will include myself in that category--especially when I first started here. I'm trying to improve that. But often we just type, and gripe.
Much of what people write is intended to provoke ego-driven, misplaced pseudo-attention that provokes instantaneous reactions from fellow strutters...and that, in my mind, is not the point of this board, though it certainly characterizes the majority of many posts lately--whether intended or not.
One thing I have learned from posting here, however, is that it is important to fall back and NOT post, filter the constant bitching/reacting, and look for the knowledge. Use the ignore user function or just ignore mindless talk. It's made me "strut" happier.
