Converting files to MP3's in PEAK

Can anyone help me out with this one? I have some samples of some music I need to upload into you send it ...and I am recording using PEAK...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. i need to be able to send these files so that just about everyone can open them.

    use itunes... peak requires some $$$$ plugin to convert to mp3

    There's a way to install LAME encoder into Peak but its unecessarily complicated and I forget how to do it (Don't have Peak in front of me).

    I use "Switch" to convert my files, and it's fast a fuck.

    this shit is if you're using PEAK.

    i did this last year and it wasn't all that hard... this link should set you straight:

    just remember to set your mp3 preferences sometime before you save to MP3 so that you have it set to the right quality and/or it isn't categorizing it as some weird genre of music in the tags.

    Thanks to everyone for your help. I tired adding the Lame file however it did not work. I think I need to update my version of Peak I will e mail them regarding that. So I just converted the file in itunes. Now that I think about I could have probably done it in Ableton Live. You guys werea big help. Thanks!

    max is pretty good stand alone LAME converter (MAC)
