Major Negative Job Change (NRR)

Just found out that up to 30% of my department is being "redistributed" to other locations in the company. Monday I go to work for another department (same pay, different hours) with A LOT less freedon/internet access).My Strut time will be truncated accordingly (not to mention the blog...)SeeyaF16

    You work on the technical support side in the newspaper industry, right?

    What kind of other work are they going to have you doing? Have they even given you that information yet?

    Indeed I do (did). I'll be moving back into electronic imaging/pagination on the production side of things. The good thing is that the guys I'll be working for are guys I've known and worked with before, and both of them are very cool.

    The biggest drag is that in my current position (as it is) I've kind of been on my own, with little interference from above. Those days are over.
