Did the Zhigge album originally come out on vinyl?I know there were some DJ promos in a plain black sleeve but what about the LP with a pic cover? I see this on the eBay occasionally, but did this come out at the time? Or is it a latter boot/re-release thing? I wanted this on vinyl real bad when it came out but couldn???t find it on wax back then?

    I've got a US promo with full PC at home, which was picked up about 5 or 6 years ago. As far as I know, it hasn't been booted yet.

    from what I understand (and this could certainly be a tall tale) there were plans to release this on vinyl, promos went out, pic sleeves were pressed up, etc, but they finally decided against it. most of the copies with the pic sleeve were passed through second-hand outlets.

    Might just be a story but it seems to all add up. I???d guess there???s at least some truth in it.

    I just phoned up some chap who live in my town, he???s a real reclusive guy, nobody knows any personal shit about him and we have all known him for like 15 years. As far as we know he doesn???t socialise much (or at all) with anyone, just sits at home playing his hip hop records, but he does knows his shit.
    Anyway he has just told me the same story about the vinyl release being ditched , so that adds a bit more weight to the story.

    I got a reatail version with picture cover. It was even sealed when I got it.

    my man originally from boston,peter paul was down with them, who was in mad videos (mariah carey)
    later went on to produce and rap on the 40 thieves/ it dont matter....which got crazy burn on stretch & bobs show.
