Remember when J-Ro used to cap on r-n-b singers for stealing hip-hop beats? Well that was before the r-n-b hook really took hold of rap songs. Back then my backpacker self pretty much agreed that r-n-b hooks on rap songs were the scourge of the earth...that is until songs such as Big Mike's Playa Playa, E-40's Rapper's Ball, UGK's One Day, and Scarface/2Pac's Smile turned me towards the dark side. Call me over the hill, but nowadays I'm into all sorts of sappy chorus. I'm bad with names but last year it was all about "so fly, so cool, tell me girl can I talk to you" as well as that Puffy-related track talking about "because my heart can't take it anymore". This year beyond "Some Cut" I can't seem to get past "grind with me". Who's with me? Who's against me? Besides Shaq...

It sucks that I got that Shaq reference.

Big Moe and Z-Ro...prone to make entire songs approximating r-n-b hooks.
And of course my current favorite...Chamillionaire.
"It's such an incredible feelin'...."
See also Outkast and Snoop.
That would be daddy to you Bone-lovers out there.
"It's going down tonight..."
"Why you wanna..."
"I'm going home..."
OK, and for one not Bay-related:
"Do you wanna ride..."
That is the first dude I thoght of when I saw the title of this thread.
Cham is the complete package:
Rappin'...
Comin' up with the hooks...
Hummin'...
"It's going down tonight..."
"tonight it goes doooown"
P.S. One more:
***BONUS***
The chorus of "Back Up Plan:"
Oooh ooh ooh, I'm really feeling you
If you can keep a secret then I'll keep a secret, too and
This is what we'll do I'll... be your number two
I can let you feel on me if you just let me feel on...
Yoooooooooouuuuuu ooh ooh, I know you got a man
Your undercover lover, I can be your back-up plan and
We can just pretend we're...nothing more than friends the...

I'm really excited for Chamillionaire's album.
