The end of an era. This makes me very sad.

• great people and a legendary store but i'm sure everyone saw this coming. commercial vinyl used to be profitable and now it's not. figures that the first time they have any good deals is when they are shutting down. no more drop it like its hot promos for $12.99 one week before the single drops.

• Wow, that shit is sad. I bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. There equipment sales were always shaddy as fuck though.

"You want pay t@x on this?"

Damn, that's sad.

Besides Bobbito's Footwork,
that was the place where I would buy all of the exclusive and good hip-hop records (Back when they were right by the Greyhound bus station).
I also copped a Vestax 06-pro from that store. So many good memories.

It's a shame they're shutting down.

Damn, that's sad.

Only went there once, though, but the selection was excellent.

I remember rolling through there back in '96, they had a ton of stuff priced at 10 for $1.00. After picking up about 500 things to buy, they grilled me on what I was going to do with them and almost didn't sell them to me. I guess they preferred people spending $0.60 at a time.
