Can someone help me out here? I've heard a version of Towa Tei's "Technova" that has the Japanese sing-song bit as an acapella and THEN the drums drop in but 1) it's not the LP version and 2) the drums that I've heard on this acapella mix are diff. from the LP mix. Where is that from (the acapella-intro version I mean)?

I think your looking for "Dubnova (Part 1 and 2)".
The vocals are Bebel Gilberto and the source vocals for ATCQ's Find a Way.
Dude, you rule.
Of course, now I'm embarassed that i can't tell the fuggin' difference between Japanese and Portugese.
Btw Paul - is your Muro/PN mix-CD still avail? Let a bro know where to order.
Not a ting.
Check your pm.

Coded Vibes Mix - 4:58
Side C:
Dubnova - 11:44
Phatnova - 2:51
Side D:
George's Journey - 8:34
Folknova - 5:47
has 2 discs; the highlight being the Ummah Remix.
