Who else has seen this? Except for the chick behindme constantly "whispering" at a volume louder than mynormal speaking voice such enlightening commentary as"THAT'S JESSICA BIEL SHE WAS ON SEVENTH HEAVEN ON TV,"I found it to be a pretty entertaining night at the movies.I was a bit annoyed by the "OMG aren't you so SURPRISED" conclusion* that just confirmed what I (and I have to assume 80% of the viwers at least) had been assuming all along, with clues about as subtle as an axe to the face in every scene - but I thought it looked great, had acting from passable toexcellent, and definitely held my interest all the way through. The real reason for my post, though, is the review I readlast night after seeing it, which claimed that all the "illusions"in the film were "real" and not done by CGI in any way, to the pointof talking about a famous magician on hand to work out all the tricksand who insisted on "100% authenticity." Having seen the film, I findthis very hard to believe. Some things I can see, but if youare trying to tell me those "spectres" had no special effects/CGIwizardry, but were merely "magic tricks" performed live before thecamera, I need to see proof or I'm calling BULLSHIT.Nonethless, a pretty cool film that I recommend to anyone listening - just don't sit behind Becky!(*AKA MNightShyamalanism)JPEG BETTER THAN THE ONE SEARCHED FOR DEPARTMENT: (google image search for "illusionist")
