beat heads - Mekalek's new album is pretty good

I had never heard of this dude Mekalek, but the beats on this dude's new CD are pretty damn good. The rappings parts sometimes fall a little flat, but when it works, it works well. This dude has obviously got some records. Worth checking out.Thats all.

    it is a nice record! i did the artwork for him. mek's a really nice guy who i'm sure we'll be hearing more of in the future. dude has got skillz on the decks too. he did all the scratching on the last Non-Prophets album.

    dope stuff! he also did a limited edition 10" of PUTS tuxedo rap that they sold on tour with Thes and them.

    the k-def cd came out a month or so ago.i just got it in the mail today.the cd is fiyahhh!!! check out "the witch" and dude making david porter's "i'm afraid the masqurade is over" sound fresh again on "like a circus".also he replays famous axelrod and ike turner loops.
