Philly belongs in the rude top 5.
people won't look you in the eyes in chicago, or give you a nod or a hello
Chicago is a friendly city on the whole. Studs Terkel books to thread.
The women in that town are both hot and approachable.
Montreal
NO
Memphis
NYC
St. Louis
who the hell are you and why are you breathing the same air as me?
El Paso
LA
(parts of) Toronto
Allentown
Batavia
This is real accurate, although I would replace Memphis with Austin and St. Louis with Indianapolis, and replace El Paso with Dallas.
Most if not all New Yorkers I know are transplants.
The real locals are:
I was actually offended that NYC is on the nice list.
lol.
i should also add Baltimore and DC to friendliest - i'm not joking! admittedly, this is memories of yesteryear i'm talking about. we used to go all the time when i was growing to visit family and i was always floored at how nice and chatty folks were (coming from Toronto)...especially at the height of "DC is the most dangerous city in N America" and all that.
10 strutters just made vacation plans.
No TX cities??
San Antonio
Austin
Hell, even Houston and Dallas are friendlier than NYC IMO
It is at times, super friendly. And at other... Super rude...
SCREWFACE CAPITAL!!!
austin>funkytown>houston>dallas
yeah Raj. DC on the rude list? Oh, I forgot you hang out in Montgomery County.
Only place I've been where I thought people are rude overall is Boston. But it's still a beautiful town. Especially in the Fall.
Co-signatore.
Los Angeles
Boston
Friendly:
Berkley/SF
I found downtown Chicago to be more self-contained and seasonally depressed than rude.
sayin' dude. I'm suprised people don't get their asses beat the fuck out there. Especially in places like Melrose. BUT! When you do meet nice people, they're hella nice.
There are very few native washingtonians left in DC. The douchebag diplomat's sons and government employed fratboys are enough to make me want to never return. It used to be one hell of a cultural blast.
I'm surprised no one said Portland or Seattle for nice places. Those would be my top two for over-polite nail biters.
That was such an Emo comment.
'Cause they are!
Remember the first night we hung out, with you and Wes and Tony at that hippie jam??
j/k!
You don't have your timing right... if it was a Kemetic Suns show you would've only been 13 at the time.
