Jazz Crusaders - Live at the Lighthouse 66,68,69 and Newport Jazz Festival Les Mccann - I forgot the title(s) Joe Pass - I forgot the title(s) Clare Fischer - All of them Bud Shank - All of them
LOL yeah, it's maybe a little too wacky, but we had a copy at my old record store and I used to enjoy coming back from a 3-bowl lunch, putting it on an getting in "tha zone" for a while...
Billy Larkin & the Delegates must have had a thousand albums on World Pacific (and its' predecessor, Aura), yet are strangely underrated. I don't see why - their shit was tight and grooving, not just out-of-control blowing sessions like Jimmy Smith's records became. Dunno exactly how many World Pacific/Pacific Jazz/Aura albums I got, but I do know that all or most are by Larkin.
And on the 45 tip: the garagey "I Recommend Her" by the Skunks (like Verve, WPJ released its' share of pop/rock stuff as well).

wow. that's a tough one.
i been digging these lately:
Latino Con Soul
but truth be told, I dig most any Bud Shank and Clare Fischer stuff on Pacific
I also like these
Curtis Amy with Bobby Hutcherson on vibes and Frank Stazzeri on piano
Les Mccann - I forgot the title(s)
Joe Pass - I forgot the title(s)
Clare Fischer - All of them
Bud Shank - All of them
Although I enjoy the original session with Dolphy over the Buddy Colette re-do...

And on World Pacific:

anything with cosmic in the title makes me a little wet
it's kinda wanky out of tune yoko ono-esque psych.
