All songs are true dollar bin tracks, and all of them charted to some degree way back in the day. Here's a lyric from each (real headz don't have to google the answers). It's a bit wierd to read lyrics without music. Songs range from the late 60s to the early 80s:1. You???re eager for love, but don???t you worry2. Reach for a stars and I???ll show you a plan3. Catholic girls start much too late4. For I will not be part of her cocktail generation5. When you want her lips, you get her cheek6. Every word is a symphony7. So he takes a ladder, steals the stars from the sky8. I got a wife now, years we???ve been going strong9. I knew I???d find you in a day or two, and it???s true10. And I wonder if I???m really with you now11. Now we???ve realized love???s not all it???s supposed to be12. I caught you glancing my way13. Once in her life she musters a smile14. I got up to wash my face15. Every way???s a new way, every time I love you16. As we lay at midnight???s hour and feel love???s hidden power17. Putting your business in the street18. One more song about moving along the highway19. I can see her looking fast in her faded jeans20. Close your eyes, I???ll be on my way21. No harbor was his home22. You hop into the back seat where you know it???s nice and dark23. After twenty years he still grieves24. The rain keeps falling but the rainbow???s gone25. I pick myself up off the ground to have you knock me back down

All songs are true dollar bin tracks, and all of them charted to some degree way back in the day. Here's a lyric from each (real headz don't have to google the answers). It's a bit wierd to read lyrics without music. Songs range from the late 60s to the early 80s:

    3. Catholic girls start much too late
"Only The Good Die Young" - Billy Joel

    21. No harbor was his home
    "Brandy" - Looking Glass

    22. You hop into the back seat where you know it???s nice and dark
"Your Mama Don't Dance" - Loggins & Messina

    25. I pick myself up off the ground to have you knock me back down
"Cruel To Be Kind" - Nick Lowe

    1. "You're eager for love but don't you worry"
"Give Me Just A Little More Time" - Chairmen of the Board

And it's just dawning on me - "Mr. Bojangles" is the source for "after 20 years he still grieves."

And I'm still wondering what song the lyric comes from about aiming for her lips but only making her cheek...

Nice one. I thought this one would be incredibly tough when I looked back on the list. Not sure I would've gotten it myself.

This song was actually by Firefall, not Ford & Coley.

(Sad, considering I don't even like that cut!)

Haha. It's crazy to consider some of these songs were once popular. I was a bit stoned when I listed the answers.
