Radio Rootz is a partnership between New York City public schools, community organizing groups, and Pacifica community radio (which includes WBAI 99.5 FM) We help young and marginalized New Yorkers to find their voice and make it heard.Radio Rootz recognizes the importance of giving young folks thepolitical background to understand issues of representation, public policyand the big money interests behind both, while making available the tools so young people can respond, react and create their own media.
