I'm traveling in the southern / south-eastern part of Italy for two weeks with my girl. What's worth checking out (besides the obvious sights, etc.)? Any digging spots in Bari? Flea markets? Where to stay, where not to go?I'd appreciate your tips.

Went to Lake Garda last year, no diggin sports but a nice chilled out atmosphere and not too touristy if you go to the right areas. Also helped that it was the annual wine festival so got to see masses of germans and italians dancing on tables to Europe as well.

Oh yeah, they also have wine bottles.

And know how to deal with troublesome youths
