Planning a trip to end in Cali over the 4th. Debating whether to just fly to L.A. to visit friends in CA and do some buying. Or to make a couple weeks out of it and drive through NM and AZ. So the question is this? Who's out that way?I know Herm's in Tuc[/b]son.who else in the southwest? How is the "record" state of affairs out there?I had some luck on a trip once when passing through albuquerque (sp??), but elsewhere?i've heard South Arizona is tough. are there lots of places to dig?dealers?help a brother out. i'd hate to waste the gas & money. Despite the beauty of these places.you can PM if you're shy.peace.

after my visit in albany, i'll pass.
no offense.
hey anthony...
is this directed to me?
really?
more details?
i'd hate to drive that far and it not be worthwhile.
otherwise, i'll fly to l.a. and either rent a car or hire a chaffeur.
K.
yes, i have been to buy collections twice in the past 4 years. nice collections but when i went to suppliment my boxes by going to shops and thrifts i bit into a turd the size of king kongs dooky stick.
no go. the desert is dry in more than one way.
i dont give me that pdq either. that shit is not what it used to be.
dry.
albuquerque sucked too.
i did well in albuquerque once when passing through- managed to do ok hitting the shops.
definitely nothing in santa fe.
the prospects are looking grim here.
Ya gonna need it boss man.
nah, i'm driving it.
the open road.
the open container.
whoops.
what's this i need all my strength and energy for???
go back to your digging in rio thread.
bring me back some goodies.
Audio Synergy is sad--I spent a little coin there over a couple of weeks and built up no goodwill. Guy mainly does high-end stereo equipment, so he can afford to sit on stuff. Not that there's any visible heat in there.
