    Loved this when it was on TV a while back. The gulper eel and the fangtooth are no joke, you can't imagine fish that hideous.

    There was another episode about the "whale fall" -- how a whale carcass sustains a whole mini ecosystem of fish and parasites when it sinks to the ocean floor. Amazing stuff.
