The Montclairs - 'Dreaming Out Of Season'

Sweet Soulness recommended by Guzzo and AP to help continue the addictive "My Thing" vibe and this album does the trick. Right up there in terms of swirling vocals and intricate instrumentation. Pretty easy to cop for less than $30 and well worth it.

oh shit, is this something? got a white label the other day..

    found this recently:

not too sure what the deal is (sounds like a hair wannabe) but the previous owner included their proposal to a theatre company to do a musical based on the album.

I don't think it's worth a heck of a lot, but the tune smokes...and it was the only soul 45 the guy owned.

    Good Choice, K.

I think certain things (even non-raers) are common in different places. For example, I've never seen a copy of Herbie Mann - Brazil out here in SoCal but found 2 in the south. Go figure.

    cheap ebay purchase arrived today:

Los Brasilios- Brasilian Beat '67 (on Design; my favorite so far being "no te esconde", which has brasilian rhythms with a soft rock, scat touch to it. and "brasilian beat" which gets lively halfway through.)
