Those crazy New York summer park concert series?

Anyone hear anything yet? I saw last years line-up (PPP, Roy Ayers, Brand Nubian, Little Brother, etc..) all perform for free or something. I would make my maiden voyage to New York if shit is really really.

    that's just central park, the smaller parks haven't announced their schedules as of yet. (oops I'm wrong)

    I know Seu Jorge is playing for free up in your neck of the woods pretty soon.

    Seu Jorge, Asha Puthi, Black Merda and Fugi, Irma Thomas and the Hot 8 Brass Band, all free at summerstage on different dates.

    Joe Bataan and Sonora Ponce??a at Prospect Park July 29!

    Those are the one's I'll be attending.

    I caught Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings with Delay last year in the park right behind my Aunt's building. Schitt was off the chizzle. Later headed down to catch Mr. Finewine's set at a club. I heart NYC.
