    The Ike Noble Fresh Start?

    K.

Hey K, if you're asking what it is...it's an early 80's modern soul album from Chicago (I think) with a solid boogie vibe...some nice tracks on this one!

I was on a hardcroe buzz this week it seems, replaced some worn out cassettes. Also now the entire Judge discog is on two nice pieces of colored vinyl, sweet.

I saw Judge back in '90...they were alright but the real band that night was the opening group, BLIND APPROACH (from Minneapolis). Great band with two criminally slept on 7"s...

I thought someone else asked what it was (album stage left of Electric Mud). I've had it a couple times - always thought it was a Ohio thing for some reason.

    Shitzr,
I passed on that Louis Sneed this morning (I'm guessing that very copy), how is it? I got some nice gospel from the same dude (presumably).

Excedrin Headache #24 is such a dope track.
    I did a little research on it a ways back - I
remember they were ex-O'Jays. I always wondered
if there was a 12" of it.

btw you guys are killing me with Simtec & Wylie LP's
at thrift stores. I wanna move to another state just to
    improve my local thrifting experience.

Rockadelic, that PHD record looks awesome/cool. What does it sound like? Good/bad? Only worth the cover?

That detroid sound by the megatons is great. Same with that norma jenkins.
That "Jazz, Jive, and Boogie" is a 10" from the early 50s of straight jazz from the 40s. Not really into that stuff, but the cover was so cool.

Finally got a copy of this. The cover isn't that great, but the vinly is NM and it had the original inner sleeve and was only $20CAN at this antique mall. Great album.

PP terd in this bunch. The Whispers is

The Mikki lp has an amazing ripperton sounding track called "never enough time"

This is a dupe if someone needs it.

    What is the Fawns about?

pretty good northern and ballads. LP doesnt pop up often. they have a few 45s prior to the RCA release on some smaller labels. not the most solid piece but a damn good find. dont know a value but i would guess $60? i could be waaaay off but thats my guess.

lil dude finds this weekened. all i listened to so far is the shakey jake and its a pretty good blues record. o and solitudes is a environmental sounds record with birds chirping and a thunderstorm and frogs cricketing.

No pics (sorry), but here's the week's keepers:

Staple Singers - For What It's Worth (Epic)
Howard Roberts - Antelope Freeway (Impulse)
Baden Powell - L'Amme de (Imagem)
Inner Life - I'm Caught Up (Prelude)
    Shonen Knife - S/T (Giant)
Sweetwater - Just for You (Reprise)
Leroy Hutson - Hutson (mint promo with publicity photo and press kit)
Mondo Grosso - Marble (something in Japanese)
Marks and Lebzelter - Rock and Other Four Letter Words (Columbia) Anyone know anything about this one? Crazy 1968 psych/spoken word sound collage thing.
