OHIO. Go to that Roller Coaster Heaven Sandusky whatchamacallit and hit all that backwater funk 45 raers along the way from akron to cleveland and toledo.
GO BACK TO VIRGINIA. OR GO HI FIVE MARCO AT BHANGRA NIGHT IN NC.
Kind on the subject, but what is the consensus on godforsaken states and digging. I mean, every once in a while I'll think something like "I wonder whats in Idaho, or Kansas?" The romantic view I tend to have coming from a place like CA, is that there are thrift shops welling up with raer like so many unmilked cows - but I realize this is probably an unrealistic and even imperialistic viewpoint. What are you guys' experiences with this?

My search was Philly to Toronto. Guess that's where mapquest thinks the middle of Toronto is. I feel so left out.

There is an old school dude right near there and at one time had some crazy records. But alas, has been seriously picked over the years. Including by me.

Why would Kansas be untapped? Theres plenty of collectros there (Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka). I've spent minimal time in Idaho too, but didn't find much else but country and ez garbage. I have had more luck in CA than almost any other state though, as far as finding shit in thrift shops and junk shacks. I've been through just about every state looking for records too!
Dudes sayin stuff like "No records in KY" and "No records in Ohio" need to come off it already. Theres records in every state, just gotta sniff em out harder.

for real though, i think 99% of the time people say this they're joking, and i thought that was universally understood.

There is/was a really dope spot in Binghamton, NY, but I do love digging in Columbus, OH, Pittsburgh, PA. For someplace to bring your lady, check Savannah's B&B's but dig in Jacksonville, FL. Also, for nostalgia pruposes hit up Ye Olde and chill in balmy Charlotte.

They look at you like you're crazy if you ask about records in the rural/mountainous region some of my family resides in
