Weird shit on front page (NRR)

When I load the front page of Soulstrut in IE it starts running a banner in the bottom status bar about a real estate agency. Anyone else getting this????

    I just deleted a bunch of suspicious files from the UBB Threads directory. Somebody is hacking into the site by using this board. I might have to disable the User List like last time. It might also explain why this site has been so slow at times (cross fingers).

    I haven't experienced any of that. I never use Internet Explorer, so apparently it doesn't have any effect when using Safari and Firefox.

    This is strange- I've logged in through the front page many times over the past few days through IE and I've never seen any weirdness

    ...and this time it blew up my browser and almost froze up my system...
    mad pop-ups trying to open...some serious hacking going on here!

    I got that also.

    When I'm on this Linux box things seem fine. That still showed up tho. But If I move to windows things act a lil funny.

    Could be ... It's a German guy with the user ID soauker. He strikes right when I get into work every morning and wastes an hour of my day... reuploading index files that have been tainted with his ad code.

    I confronted my web host about it and they give some generic tier one answer like "change your passwords."
