Found this today as well.....anyone have any info.....is this that "Modern Soul" sound that all the great collectros want??

    '84....and if I ever figure out to make soundfiles....1) I'll be dangerous on ebay....2) I won't have any free time.....and....3) My wife will probably divorce me.

    Sounds like white guys doing early Prince sounds to me???

    Likely too late for the modern soul crowd (though it might fit in Guzzo's rookie definition ). Indy boogie 12? Still could go for loot if it's good, but then again if you can prove that with a soundfile...

    nope,

    in order to follow the universally accepted guzzo definition of modern soul the music must be between the years of 1977 & 1983.

    Well....a little Google search reveals that this is the band Steam Heat who recorded on Fable....apparently this LP was recorded in '81 four years after the Fable release.

    With the title "Extreme Heat," all I can see is some dude breathing sweaty stinky shoes into a girl's ear.
