I really don't think cumbia is "the next shit"...I really can't picture Cumbia music being mixes on TTLAB or flying off the pale lips of strutters worldwide. I just think of Cumbia as my parents music and pretty much not "cutting edge" or something.

hey, the 2nd one is nice...it can be tough finding traks w/ vocals, not just instrumentals...ive got some that have some killer horns w/ a female vocalist thats my gear is still down so cant post an mp3 yet
Excuse me if I'm being ignorant but that strong accent on the 2 and the 4, plus the use of horns, can give it almost a ska vibe. I love that jazz guitar in the second tune.
