    There's something about the shape and weight of a record that causes it to flip pretty soon after you throw it, resulting in a parabola.

    45's can go about 100 yards if thrown right.

    does the roll count or just the actual in air distance?

    Everybody knows it's all about where the record lands.

    well the throwing technique would differ if the roll counted... i bet i could get 10-15 yards out of one frisbee style

    Dynaflex ar banned from the record throwing game.

    78s are OK, but the perimeter of the field has to be secured.

    Oh man, if I were in the USA I would make this game come so true. Imagine all the records nerds throwing records at the parking lot of any Record Show.

    Prizes would be records, of course.

    $10 to register.

    I bet the records that everyone would want to throw would be the ones everyone will be looking for in 20 years!

    Oh, and I once threw one about 80 feet...personal best!
