The flea market didn't really work out so well this morning since it started pouring while I was working through a disgustingly grimy box of busted soul 45s (did manage to pull out an extra copy of Eddy Giles "Soul Meeting" though). So I decided to check on my little semi-secret thrift store spot and pulled this for one dollar.
It's real clean too. I actually didn't know the title so was pretty psyched (no pun) to discover it's a $$$ piece. That and a Terry Reid Bang Bang and a small stack of Burton Greene titles.
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot about the Edwards Generation LP I found a couple days ago. That one I'll be keeping.

There is a version that has a red San Franciso Sound label with no mention of Janus.....supposedly is a different mix as well....still a really great find!!!

Yeah, I figured there must have been a local release before Janus stepped in. Actually the fact that it was on Janus had me fooled. I was thinking maybe I could flip it for $20 or something until I looked it up. Hey Reynaldo, cool to see you finally tracked down that VU-Funkadelic collab.

Got this today...OG...$1.00
First hip hop record I've bought in a year or so.
It's real clean too. I actually didn't know the title so was pretty psyched (no pun) to discover it's a $$$ piece. That and a Terry Reid Bang Bang and a small stack of Burton Greene titles.

Pretty traditional old school Gospel....kid can sing his ass off, but it's pretty straight and narrow.
