m*rk, your avatar reminds me of this older lady that would always hit on me when i worked at the natural foods co-op. she was sorta good looking, but i'm pretty sure she had crabs or something. plus, she wore the same facial cream that my dead grandma wore (pond's) and everytime she came in, i'd be reminded of the way my grandma smelled the last time i saw her.

I've only got/heard the S/T... is this one equal or superior?
Puzzle is their best album in my opinion. I wouldn't call it psych folk though
I don't recall there being anything remotely 'folk' about the first album
I started to say...some Soul Strutters (I said "SOME") use that term "folk" really randomly (usually meaning "anything from the sixties that wasn't on Blue Note").
I got the S/T and really dig it - everybody tells me Puzzle blows it away tho.
Are their LP's "common" in PA?
Hate to say it but I see their records a lot... but puzzle eluded me. Didn't buy it for $15 a couple years back and regretted it. Homie got it in at the shop and it looks like the previous owner used it as a coaster as there is a tear the size of a cup. Best fiver I've spent in awhile.

words of wisdom.
Love that track... only have it on 45 though. Didn't they have some super rare album that came out before S/T or am I thinking of someone else?
finally found one of these last week w/ bonus escher slipmat.
I think there's some beats on there[/sirfunkalot]

In my opinion Puzzle is a better record than the S/T, although I also enojoy that one.

Both albums are good...just stay away from the one with the hamburger on the cover (Medium).
I have a track from this on a mix/compilation I'm working on
thanks a lot, RAJ
lol, good stuff though

ps: I like how they colored in the cover for that cd reissue or whatever
REYNALDO = ROLE MODEL
that schitt smell just like old white ladies
lol
Aww.. I like Medium... s/t didn't do anything for me, though.
