Did I miss something? When did Kool and the Gang's self titled LP become a $400 LP?
It became a $400 copy of an album when two people decided they wanted to bid around $400 on it. Now, if the next person who decides to list a copy becomes fixed on the idea they are going to get $400 for it, then they are setting themselves up for disappointment.
It's the "sealed" factor that runs the price up so high on albums - except that the sticker on the shrink is a good indication of one of two things - since the sticker is NOT from 1969 but more like 1977-1983 or so, it is probably either a much later pressing, or at least a re-seal job. Unless someone stuck that sticker on an old sealed LP just for laughs?
