Went to a store and saw one of these for cheap:However, for the one in the store, in the upper left hand corner there was this graffic effect which made it look like the original cover was pealed back and there was kind of a rainbow behind it. Is this a reissue? The record is on purple and white labels just like the picture (does this make sense?)Pretty cool album, too.

    that's a transatlantic UK cover variation. jacket has the flipback correct?

    that record is a UK press from the 70's.

    it is OG enough... thats for sure.

    OG British on Transatlantic white label with purple writing.

    70's press on Transatlantic label like this:



    on one side, other side is white background, black printing.

    U.S. releases are on Reprise.

    If this is what you mean by the left hand corner being 'peeled back', then it is an Italian reissue:
