Promo rap rackords: usually clean versions?

I'm looking at a cheap copy of Short Dog's In The House (SS promo cut) over at www.shhhhh.com, but I don't see the Tipper Gore sticker on the cover. Does that mean it's the clean/edited version?I hate those. Especially annoying on Too $hort lps.

    I think that album predated the PARENTAL ADVISORY logo

    I also don't think they made clean versions of albums at that point

    But I could be wrong, I'm thinking this release was late 80s?

    Didn't the mandatory P.A. stickers not hit until after the 2 Live Crew thing? Which would make it about 1990.

    Short Dog's In The House was the first album I bought that had the parental advisory sticker, and it was a real sticker. The logo was not printed on the artwork.
