Just caught this scene on tv last night. What's brilliant is how rousing and joyous the song is in contrast with how fucked up dude is. For a second while he's dancing around and getting dolled up (before the tuck) you can almost forget what a sicko he is, and he seems like kind of a likable little fruitcake.
we used to call it a "Nadia".
